Legal Assistant
The Law Office of David G. Moss is currently seeking a part-time or full-time legal assistant. This position will begin on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition to full-time as the employee becomes more proficient in the role and demonstrates the ability to take on additional responsibilities. Job Responsibilities
​This is a growth-focused position. While the role begins with administrative support duties, we are seeking someone interested in growing with the firm and progressing over time to become a paralegal. We are committed to supporting the development of the right candidate into a more advanced legal support role.
The primary responsibilities of this position are:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the firm, answering phone calls, greeting clients and visitors, and providing a welcoming, professional first impression during office hours.

Communicating with clients via phone and email to gather information, field questions, and make office and phone appointments.
In addition to these primary responsibilities, the role may also involve a variety of administrative and legal support tasks, such as:

Communicating with the courts and anyone else involved in cases within the firm.

Opening, organizing, maintaining, and closing case files.

Maintaining and growing client database.

Maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of the firm's court calendar.

Making travel arrangements and other appointments for the attorney.

Maintaining complete confidentiality of all cases within the firm.
